Project: Catalogue for the swedish artist Thomas Broomé

Modern Mantra is the title given to twelve large drawings in which different domestic environments are visualised through the use of words describing these same environments. Broomé’s work has a frenetic quality, which I chose to retranslate into a display font for the catalogue. The font was created using a series of perfectly constructed thin lines, suggesting the work of an extremely patient lettering expert, slowly filling every corner of the page with information.
